Prayers for Mercy

I’m praying for...

Dear Father in Heaven,

Thank You for being the Great Physician. Thank You for the healings that have already taken place. Thank You for the healings that are currently taking place. Thank You for the healings that are going to take place. You are in control and are worthy of all praise.

Father, I ask that You continue to protect our health care workers. I ask that You wrap Your loving, protective arms around them and give them courage in their hearts and the peace that only You can provide. For the ones have lost their jobs, I pray that You will meet their needs.

We are nothing without You, Lord. We acknowledge that we are sinful people and need the forgiveness that only You can provide through Your only Son, Jesus Christ. Thank You for your plan of salvation so that we may have access to You through Your Son. Thank You for the grace that You have extended to us which we don’t deserve, but you have freely extended to us. I pray that for salvation for those who don’t know You. Please forgive us of our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

I ask that You extend to us what we find in Psalm 51:10-13 (NASB)
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
11 Do not cast me away from Your presence
And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation
And sustain me with a willing spirit.
13 Then I will teach transgressors Your ways,
And sinners will be converted to You.

You are our Rock and our Redeemer. May You be exalted and praised. In all of this may You be glorified.

Father, I ask that You be with my dad today. I pray that You be with everyone who is working on him and doing his surgery today, May 22, 2020. I pray that You be with my Mom while she waits for word. Please give them strength and peace. I am thankful that they both know You. Please guide the surgeon’s hands and protect everyone involved.

In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, I ask all these things.
